Great gadgetry, Batman! Clearly, that’s one tricked-out Batmobile. Get revved up for Super7’s 1989 Clear Batmobile X-Ray Super Cyborg. Inspired by the slick vehicle driven by the Caped Crusader in Batman (1989), this collectible is ready for Gotham City crime-fighting action.
Measuring approximately 13.9” long and 5.6” wide, this Batmobile is a DC collector’s dream. Clear, injected translucent plastic covers the outside of the vehicle, and two of the panels are removable: the cockpit and the front. Nothing says, “I am Batman” like high-tech details, and the sculpting and paintwork for this collectible are no exception. The armored exterior includes a spinning turbine fan, rolling wheels, and sculpted details like machine-gun casings, grappling hooks, dual batwing fairings, and more. Inside, you’ll find a supercharged V-12 engine, twin forward-mounted machine guns, and a two-seat cockpit complete with telecommunications, a rotating steering wheel, rear-mounted oil slick dispensers and smoke emitters, and a turbine exhaust afterburner.
