Inspired by the Creature from the Black Lagoon, the Gill Beast Namazu from the imagination of artist James Groman is now a highly detailed vinyl figure in the Kaiju Remix Series by ACRO.
Groman decided to name his deep-sea denizen Namazu, after the Japanese Mythological giant Catfish who was known to cause earthquakes and tsunamis. In this redux of the myth, the monster is the true Namazu, a beast so ferocious and horrible that the story of him being a giant catfish was fabricated to make his existence more acceptable to the fragile minds of humans.
Now, for the first time, we know the true appearance of the great Gill Beast: Namazu!

Inspirerad av varelsen från den svarta lagunen är Gill Beast Namazu från konstnären James Gromans fantasi nu en mycket detaljerad vinylfigur i Kaiju Remix Series av ACRO.
Groman bestämde sig för att döpa sin djuphavsinvånare till Namazu, efter den japanska mytologiska jätten Catfish som var känd för att orsaka jordbävningar och tsunamis. I denna omarbetning av myten är monstret den sanna Namazu, ett odjur som är så grymt och hemskt att historien om honom som en gigantisk havskatt fabricerades för att göra hans existens mer acceptabel för människornas bräckliga sinnen.
