The Triceratops is an extinct genus of herbivorous chasmosaurine ceratopsid dinosaur that lived in North America during the Late Cretaceous period. It is also one of only four dinosaur genera to appear in every Jurassic film. Among the most recognizable and significant dinosaur fossils ever discovered, the Triceratops skeleton has also made memorable appearances throughout the Jurassic World films.
