SHEEVA är medlem i den fyrarmade Shokan-rasen. Hennes markeringar avslöjar att hon är av den kungliga Draco-ätten. Liksom alla Shokan gav hon sitt liv till Shao Kahn och gav ära åt sin ras genom att tjäna honom. Under en attack av rebeller från Eden mot Shao Kahns fästning skyddade Sheva drottning Shindel och förhindrade att hon tillfångatogs. Hon utsågs därefter till Sindels personliga livvakt fram till drottningens mystiska död i Earthrealm. Sheeva är nu mästare på att fånga Shao Kahns förtryckande fängelsehåla.
