Originally created as the cover illustration for her first art book PHONOGRAPHIC, which compiles works from her early career, this piece has been carefully reimagined in three dimensions under the artist’s supervision. While preserving the soft contrasts and refined symmetry of the original composition, new elements have been thoughtfully introduced to enhance spatial depth. The result is a 1/5 scale vignette that elevates the charm of the illustration into a new form.
Lightly swaying hair, softly flushed skin, and a gaze that meets you directly—the cat-eared girl is brought to life with delicate brushwork and a sense of fresh transparency. The outfit captures the texture of densely woven fabric through carefully sculpted folds and tension. Accents of champagne gold are finished in an elegant tone. Newly designed elements, including the tips of the skirt and both legs, are seamlessly integrated as if they had always been part of the original artwork.
The specially designed base draws inspiration from an orrery-like backdrop and a frame influenced by interior design.
