This blade is given to Aragorn Ellesar by Celeborn of the elves of Lórien. It is a High Elven blade of beautiful design, it is a protection for Aragorn against the orc hordes and the fell creatures of Mordor.

Aragorn uses it at the end of the Fellowship and throughout The Two Towers.
