Vulkan He'stan, the Forgefather of the Salamanders, strides into battle with the weapons of his Primarch in his hands. As the seeker of the lost relics of Vulkan, he is relentless in his quest, willing to fight through any foe and face down any danger to see his oaths fulfilled.
As the Forgefather of the Chapter, he is entrusted with the relics of the Primarch – the Spear of Vulkan, a blade that burns so brightly it can set even ceramite ablaze, Kesare's Mantle, an impenetrable drakescale cloak, and the Gauntlet of the Forge, whose molten rage none can endure.

Vulkan He'stan, salamandrarnas smedsfader, går in i strid med sin Primarchs vapen i händerna. Som sökare av Vulkans förlorade reliker är han obeveklig i sin jakt, villig att kämpa mot varje fiende och möta varje fara för att se sina eder uppfyllas.
Som kapitlets smedsfader anförtros han primarkens reliker – Vulkans spjut, ett blad som brinner så starkt att det kan sätta till och med ceramit i brand, Kesares mantel, en ogenomtränglig drakeskalmantel, och Smedjans handske, vars smälta raseri ingen kan uthärda.
